Name of The Course : NCC Special Entry Scheme 34th Course-Apr 2014.
Name of Posts :
1. NCC Women : 04
2. NCC Men : 50
Eligibility Criteria :
Age Limit : Candidates should have attained the minimum age of 19 yrs and should have not crossed the maximum age of 25 yrs.Candidates must be born between 02-01-1989.
Education Qualification :
1. For Ward of Battle Causalities of Army Personnel : Degree of a recognised University or equivalent with aggregate of minimum 50% marks taking into account marks of all the years.
2. For NCC ‘C’ Certificate Holders : Degree of a recognized University or equivalent, should have served for minimum two academic years in the Senior Division/Wing of N.C.C & should have obtained minimum of ‘B’ Grade in ‘C’ Certificate Exam of NCC.
Mode of Selection : Eligible Candidates will be selected on the basis of screening of candidates on the basis of physical standards, visual standards and physical fitness standards at OTA followed by Group test, Physical test, interview and medical examination.
Duration of Training : Duration of Training is 49 weeks training at OTA, Chennai, On successful completion
of which Candidates will be granted commission in the rank of Lt.
How to Apply : Eligible candidate can send their applications in the prescribed format given in the advertisement to the nearest OC, NCC Unit from where NCC ‘C’ certificate has been issued. Those serving in the Armed Forces should send application in the Armed Forces duly counter-signed by Commanding Officer to the OC, NCC Unit from where NCC’ ‘C’ certificate has been issued. Applications under category of Wards if Battle Casualties to send their applications direct to Dte Gen of Recruitment/Rtg-6, NCC Entry, West Block-III, R.K Puram, New Delhi-110066.
Document to be attached :
I. Marksheets of Graduation Exam attested by class I Gazetted Officer.
II. NCC’ ‘C’ Certificate duly attested.
III. Class 10th Certificate (with Date of Birth) duly attested.
IV. In the case of Wards of Battle Casualties, attested copies of documents in support thereof.
V. Certificate from the college/university indicating total marks obtained and percentage of marks in the Final Examination.
Important Date :
1. Last date for receipt of application at NCC Bn/Gp HQ : 01-08-2013.
2. Last date for receipt of application at Rtg Dte from Dte Gen NCC : 01-09-2013.
