Indian Air Force (IAF) invites Online Applications from Male & Female Indian citizens for the following courses commencing in July, 2014 for grant of short service Commission in Flying, Technical and Ground Duty Branches. IAF issued a notification of Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) – 02/2013. Eligibility Criteria for AFCAT 2013 Online application form.
Age Limit :
1. For flying branch : 19 yrs to 23 yrs
2. For Technical Branch : 18 yrs to 28 yrs
3. For Ground Duty branches : 20 yrs to 27 yrs.
Educational Qualification :
1. For flying Branch : candidates must possess : Graduation (Minimum three year degree course) in any discipline from a recognised University
2. For Technical Branch : Candidates should have done Aeronautical Engg in mechanical and Aeronautical branches.
3. For Ground Duty branches : Candidates are pleased to refer the notification for complete details.
Selection Process : Initially candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of written test which will be held on 25th August, 2013, then shortlisted will be selected on the basis of Intelligence Test, Psychological Test, Group Test, Medical Examination and Interview conducted by Air Force Selection Boards (AFSBs).
Candidates who want to apply for Flying branch, they need to face Pilot Aptitude Battery Test (PABT) which is based on the choice of branch/eligibility.
