Western Railway Recruitment Board has issued recruitment notification for filling 560 vacancies of Erstwhile Group D posts in specified categories of Northern Railway under various departments under Ex Servicemen Quota. 1. Helper Khalasi : 241
2. Track man : 147
3. Platform Porter : 60
4. Safaiwala/Comml, Mech, Medical : 83
5. Helper/Stores : 07
6. Safaiwala/General Administration, Accounts : 08
7. Waiter and Cleaner, commercial Catering : 14
Eligibility Criteria :
Age Limit : Candidates age should be below 33 yrs + Extent of military + 3 years . For determining age limit , cut off date would be 01-07-2013.
Educational Qualification : Ex-Servicemen who have retired after putting in 15 years of service and have passed Army Class-I Certificate or equivalent, or matric. The eligibility of the retired Defence personnel to the status of Ex SM is governed by the definition as laid down by Department of Personnel and Training.
Selection process : Selection process consists of Medical Fitness.
How to Apply : Candidates are required to download the application from official website www.rrc-wr.com, then take print out and fill it with all mandatory details and along with relevant enclosures send it to following address :
