West Bengal Public Service Commission (WBPSC) invites applications in prescribed application format for occupying vacant positions of Assistant Professor post in different subjects. WBSC hiring candidates to work in Government and Technological Colleges under the Higher Education Department, Government of West Bengal in the West Bengal General Services, 235 Medical Officer (General Duty) in West Bengal Employees State Insurance Medical Service (Basic Grade) under the Labor Department. Eligibility Criteria :
Age Limit :
1. For Asst Professor post : Max age 35 yrs.
2. For ordinary medical graduates : Max age 32 yrs
3. For Medical officer post : Max age 40 yrs.
Educational Qualification : Candidates must have obtained the degree of B.E/B.Tech or M.E/M.Tech as per relevant posts.
Selection process : Selections will be made on the basis of performance in Screening test/written test and Interview.
Application Fee :
1. Candidates have to pay Rs. 210 only by postal order.
2. SC/ST candidates of west bengal and persons with disabilities
are not required to pay any fees.
How to Apply : Candidates are required to download the application form through official website which link is mention below, then take print out and fill the application form in all respects and along with relevant certificates send it to following address :
