All 7 IIT (Indian Institutes of Technology) will jointly conduct the JEE Advanced 2013 for Admission to all Undergraduate programmes in these Institutions for Indian and Foreign Nationals . Candidates who have qualified JEE Main 2013 Entrance Exam and which rank comes under 1,50, 000 only they will be allowed to appear in JEE (Advanced) 2013. So, for Appearing in JEE Advanced 2013, Candidates have to do Online Registration before 13th May, 2013. More detailed information is mention below.
JEE Advanced 2013 Exam Details :
JEE Advanced 2013 Exam : 02nd June, 2013
Paper 1 : 09:00 to 12.00 hrs (IST)
Paper 2 : 14:00 to 17:00 hrs (IST)
Eligibility for JEE Advanced 2013 : Only those candidates are eligible for JEE Advanced who are qualified in Paper I of JEE Main 2013 (Only top 1,50,000 Candidates including all categories will be eligible).
Distribution of top 1,50,000 candidates across various categories is as follows:
1. Top 75750 (50.5 %) Common Merit List
2. Top 40500 (27%) Other Backward Classes Non creamy layer OBC (NCL)
3. Top 22500 (15 %) Scheduled Caste (SC)
4. Top 11250 (7.5 %) Scheduled Tribe (ST)
Examination Fee :
1. General and OBC Candidates would be required to pay Rs. 1800/-.
2. SC/ST/PWD Candidates would be required to pay Rs. 900/-.
3. Female Candidates are not required to pay any Fees
How to Apply : Candidates have to register through Online at www.jeeadv.iitd.ac.in from 08th May, 2013 to 13th May, 2013. After Online registration , kindly pay the Examination through Challan of all SBI branches having core banking solution (cbs).
